Start using your Solomon account
Your own login connects you to your assigned work, customer records and updates.
Employee sign-in Install on your phone
1. Set up your account
Open your personal invitation from contactus@solomonselectric.com. Choose a password of at least 12 characters, then sign in with the email shown in your invitation. If you already set a password, use it. Invitations expire after 24 hours; ask the office for a new private link if yours expired.
Check Spam or Junk if you cannot find the email. Do not share your invitation, password or an owner code.
2. Check your assigned work
Open My day and confirm that your next customer and appointment are correct. Use All active work to find work without an upcoming appointment. If an assignment is missing, contact the office before visiting the customer.
Office employees can open their assigned records and status-based tasks. Safety advisors can prepare estimates for assigned work when estimating access is enabled. Broader office and owner tools require separate permissions.
3. Field employees: location and time
- When available for work, tap Available for work · enable location and allow precise location.
- At the first job, review the labor and material limits with the safety advisor or project manager. Confirm both only if they are achievable, then clock in on arrival. Report a problem and hold work when the limits are missing or unsuitable.
- Finish each job and remain available for the next visit. Job time and travel between jobs are recorded separately.
- At the last job, clock out for the day. Off duty stops location sharing. Morning commuting and travel home are excluded.
Android is a pilot download; verify background tracking on your phone with the office. On iPhone, use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen and keep the app visible for location updates. The App Store release is still pending.
4. Update the customer and job
Open the assigned customer or work record to add notes and photos, prepare invoices and estimates, and open available communication and payment tools. Upload material receipts in Expenses, review the AI extraction, and record what was used and what remains in your van before leaving.
Before sending an invoice or estimate, have the office verify the amount and the document being used. Solomon document changes do not automatically update Workiz. Do not send duplicate documents or collect the same balance twice.
Keep the dialer page open for browser calls. Incoming calls while the app is closed are not supported by this app build.
5. Finish your first check with the office
Confirm that you can sign in, see the right assignments and add a work update. Field employees should also confirm that the office can see their on-duty location and that the correct job appears in their recorded time. Review weekly earnings with the office; displayed calculations need verified costs, rates and collections before payroll.
Internet is required to save work. If access or an assignment is wrong, report it to the office rather than using someone else’s login.
